Whenever you access a page on the world wide web, fetch your E-mail,
request a file via FTP or access any other resource on
the Internet, your computer will have to find out the IP number that corresponds to
the address of the site you want to access. Each request needs to be
sent to your DNS server across your Internet link. Depending on the
speed of your connection, other line activity and DNS server load it
may take several seconds before a reply is being received. It is but
after this reply that your application can actually start loading the
requested data. When a web page is being loaded, DNS requests need to
be sent for each additional screen element that are part of the page
(images, banners etc.) .
What is ExtraDNS doing
ExtraDNS intercepts DNS requests and stores replies in a fast indexed database.
The next time your systems needs to resolve the same
address, ExtraDNS instantly supplies the reply from its database.
There are no more delays when loading a Web page or accessing your
mail server.
In addition, ExtraDNS overcomes the limitations of the windows
operating system and can manage up to 10 different nameserver.
How does ExtraDNS work?
ExtraDNS tells your system to request DNS information from the
ExtraDNS application rather then sending requests out to the
Internet.
When ExtraDNS receives a request two cases may happen:
1 The answer was found in the database
- ExtraDNS will send the requested information instantly to the
application.
- Nevertheless the request will be send to the Internet DNS server.
- Once a reply is received, ExtraDNS will compare the answer with the
information
in its database, and update any records if required.
This assures that the cache database is always up to date, and you
will not receive
outdated information from the cache.
2 No matching entry is found in the database
- ExtraDNS will send the request to all available DNS servers that
are configured.
ExtraDNS will inquire all servers simultaneously. This will result
in a much faster
reply compared to the standard windows system where requests are
send to the
next server only when the previous did not reply.

Page Management
Pages are the backbone of AutoPlay Media Studio. Consider that you can have up to 1000 of them in each project and you'll realize the importance of effective page management. File Layout System
When you want to add or remove whole folders of files, or fine-tune the structure of a CD/DVD project, the File Layout dialog comes in very handy. It's split into two panes, with your computer's file system on the top and your project on the bottom. Select the files you want, click "add" and you're done!

A button responds automatically by changing its appearance when you move the mouse over it or click on it. With multiple image states, text options and a toggle state, buttons are used for many interactive tasks. We include a variety of pre-made button files for you to use, as well as a full featured button editor for making your own.
Text Label Object
Perfect for headlines and single line sentences, text label objects support interactive design-time resizing, custom fonts, sizes, colors, sound effects and more. An advanced anti-alias algorithm eliminates jagged edges and makes all of your text look great - even at large sizes.
Paragraph Object
Use any font, size, color or style of text you want. The software handles the required logic to automatically embed the TrueType fonts you use so your projects look great on any system. For example, you could display a list of song titles (so the user could choose a song to play), or a list of topics (so the user could decide what topic to view next). Includes options for text style, colors, auto-sorting and more.
Combo Box Object
When you want to present a list of options, but need to do it in a compact and efficient manner, this object shows a dropdown list box. You can control the look and feel of the object with properties such as font face, text color, size and background color.
Checkbox Object
The checkbox object wraps the standard Windows checkbox control but takes it to a new level by allowing transparent background and mouse state text color changes.
Radio Button Object
The radio button object is great for quiz and test applications. Radio buttons support transparent backgrounds and changing text color as the mouse passes over them. Radio button selection and grouping is also handled automatically.
Progress Bar Object
Whether you need to show a percentage of a completed task, or a simple indicator gauge to keep your users informed, the progress bar is ideal. You can control the background and bar colors, text, fonts, vertical or horizontal orientation, step size, min and max values, and a variety of styles such as standard or XP look.
Tree Object
The tree object allows you to display a hierarchal list of items on the page in the well known tree format. Items can have checkboxes associated with them, or simply be selectable. The tree object has an extensive action set so you can load and manipulate tree items at run time for full flexibility.
Publishing Options
Publishing Wizard
Once you’ve got your project ready to go, the Publishing Wizard will package it up and make it ready to distribute. There are a variety of powerful options to choose from, including direct CD/DVD burning, single-file executable, ISO image or hard drive folder.
Integrated CD/DVD Burning
You can now publish directly to CD-R/CD-RW or DVD±R/DVD±RW media. Simply insert a blank disc and the wizard will burn your finished project right to it.
Web/Email Executable
Turn you finished project into a compressed, single-file executable. It’s perfect for distribution by web and email.
Hard Drive Folder
Rather do the CD/DVD burning yourself? No problem. You can easily output your project to a folder on your hard drive that’s ready to package up however you want. It’s a great choice if you are creating a traditional application and want to distribute your application with a professional software installer tool, like Setup Factory.
ISO Image
An advanced option, for people wanting to produce an ISO image for use by a CD/DVD replication company or service bureau.

Print Pages at Runtime

Events include things like clicking on an object or moving the mouse across a page. Simply add actions to the appropriate object’s event handler and they’ll be performed automatically. This simple system, while easy to work with, is also incredibly powerful!
Page Timers
If you want to make things happen on a repeatable schedule, then timers are for you. For example, you can configure a timer to fire every 5 seconds. When it does, you can run an action of your choice like querying a web server, moving an object or playing a sound effect. It’s very powerful and very easy to do.

Trojan Remover is designed to work on Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. Trojan Remover aids in the removal of Malware - Trojan Horses, Worms, Adware, Spyware - when standard anti-virus software either fails to detect them or fails to effectively eliminate them. Standard antivirus programs are good at detecting this Malware, but not always so good at effectively removing it.
Trojan Remover is designed specifically to disable/remove Malware without the user having to manually edit system files or the Registry. The program also removes the additional system modifications some Malware carries out which are ignored by standard antivirus and trojan scanners.
Trojan Remover scans ALL the files loaded at boot time for Adware, Spyware, Remote Access Trojans, Internet Worms and other malware. Trojan Remover also checks to see if Windows loads Services which are hidden by Rootkit techniques and warns you if it finds any. For each identified Trojan Horse, Worm, or other malware, Trojan Remover pops up an alert screen which shows the file location and name; it offers to remove the program’s reference from the system files and allows you to rename the file to stop its activation.
Most modern Malware programs are memory-resident, which makes their de-activation more difficult. How many times have you been told to start your computer in ‘Safe’ mode, or even worse, in DOS? Trojan Remover does all this for you. When it finds Malware that is memory-resident, Trojan Remover automatically re-starts (on request) your system and completely DISABLES the Malware before Windows restarts.
Trojan Remover writes a detailed logfile every time it performs a scan. This logfile contains information on which programs load at boot-time, and what (if any) actions Trojan Remover carried out. The logfile can be viewed and printed using Notepad.
Trojan Remover is set to automatically scan for Malware every time you start your PC (you can disable this automatic scan if you wish). Trojan Remover is designed to work on Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. The program is not, at present, compatible with any 64bit version of Windows.

* Added new scanning routine which scans the %TEMP% Temporary Files Directory if active Malware is found loading. A number of Malware programs are copied from files originally created in this temporary files directory.
* The FastScan program has been updated to correctly locate and scan "system32" files and drivers on 64bit machines. Previously it would show numerous 'File Not Found' alerts.*Note*: Trojan Remover's main program still remains incompatible with 64bit versions of Windows. Work is progressing on making the program fully compatible.

DirectX 10 for Windows Xp & OS!
Download DirectX 10 for windows XP is available now. This DirectX 10 for windows XP still in alpha stages and isn’t the original of DirectX 10 files from Microsoft. As Microsoft has announced that the DirectX 10 currently support to Windows Vista only.
However, Cody Brocious the Alky Project leader has released a full preview of DirectX 10 Alky preview compatibility libraries for Microsoft DirectX 10 enabled games. These compatibility libraries allow the use of DirectX 10 games on platforms other than Windows Vista , and increase hardware compatibility even on Vista, by compiling Geometry Shaders down to native machine code for execution where hardware isn’t capable of running it. No reason for gamer to change or upgrade the OS and video card(s) to play the latest games.

Virtual Chemistry Lab 2.0
You can perform virtual chemical reactions and see what the results would be. Virtual Chemistry Lab application was designed to help students in their first year of studying Chemistry and their teachers, as well.
Reactions are performed in several easy steps: the user picks a container and puts it on the virtual worktable and then adds two substances into the container. The assistant will announce the result – whether the reaction went normally or there was some kind of a problem. A problem can often arise, for example, if both substances are metals or a burner is required for the reaction and none has been put on the worktable or there is no information about the reaction in the database.
If there are no problems, the user can see the change and the result of the reaction in the container. The field under the assistant shows an equation of the reaction and sometimes a small animation showing how the atoms are grouped together. There is no limit to the number of containers that can be put on the worktable or the reactions to be performed. When the user has finished with the lab experiments, he can clean the worktable and start anew.
The program has a way to modify the information about elements and reactions and so enrich the database. The login in the administrative panel requires an example password to protect students from accidentally deleting parts of the database in schools. On the first run of the program, a teacher can change the example password as it is initially recorded in the help file.
A chemistry project without the periodic table of elements is nothing. That is why we have one here. There are two variants of the table – normal and unfolded. They differ in nothing except the location of the elements. To satisfy the students’ curiosity, I’ve included information about every element – physical attributes, history, interesting facts, a photo of the element and others.
Apart from the periodic table of the elements, there are also several other reference tools included – the solubility table, Oxidizing and Relative activity of some of the substances. When students first encounter with the chemical terminology, they find it hard to remember it without constantly using it. This will no longer be a problem as the program has a built-in glossary of the most widely used terminology. It’s a wonderful way to recollect the meaning of any unknown term at any time.
The students in the seventh grade learn about some of the most widely-spread elements, compounds and reactions but they also learn how to solve equations and different problems like the mass and so on. In this case they need to use different units and convert them. The project incorporates an extremely useful unit converter and it can convert all kinds of units. Another useful tool is the calculator which helps the students to calculate any sum they encounter with.
When conducting a laboratory experiments, students write down every important detail. This is why I created the lab log which does the writing down for the students. They can save the log about any experiment and review it afterwards.
The most interesting thing for some of the students and most of the teachers is the self-test feature of the program. There are several tests – the first is the standard one – several answers and only one of them is the right one. After the test is completed, a mark is generated depending on the number of the right answers. This is a good way for teachers to check their students’ knowledge. The questions in the test can be modified in the administrative panel. Another tool of examination is the equation editor.
It can help the teacher to check the students’ skills of solving chemical equations. The last but not least important method for examination is using simple lab experiments. A reaction is visualized onscreen and the student is asked a question regarding the reaction. Seeing the changes on the screen, the student has to consider what he sees and answer correctly.
In order to make the program more fun and pleasant to use, I’ve added the option to modify the colors and transparency attributes of some of the program’s elements. That way the students can change the appearance of the program to their own liking. Besides all that functionality, there is also a complete help system in the project. Should there be any problems (which I highly doubt) the user can always look for help in the help system.

A virtual chemistry laboratory, which has a lot of extra features. The program has a myriad of functions and is indeed a useful tool for teachers as well as for students and for those who are interested in Chemistry. The program is very intuitive – there is a virtual worktable and two panels - for lab instruments and for substances respectively. To perform a reaction the user just has to put the necessary containers on the worktable and put the needed substances in them. The program has a database of reactions and it can visualize those, which are studied in the seventh grade. For example, if you fill a lab glass with water and put sodium in it, you will see an animation not only of how the reaction goes but how the molecules of the two substances interact to produce the final result of the chemical reaction. In general, the way experiments are conducted is very simple and reminds of actual lab work. The program also includes an assistant which notifies of all the changes within the program. The program offers plenty of tools including the periodic table, the solubility table, the oxidizing and relative activity table and even a glossary. Should those not suffice, there is an additional number of tools – an equation editor and a unit converter. There is also a self-test, a scientific calculator, lab exercises/tasks and a lab log (in order to prepare reports of the experiments).
